The Commonwealth Centre for Connected Learning (3CL) started 2020 with a new project, ‘Digital Enhanced Learning for All’, under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 funding programme. The DEL4ALL project sees 3CL in collaboration with Martel Innovate, Fraunhofer and The Open University on an initiative set to “transform European research and innovation initiatives in the area of digital enhanced learning.”
DEL4ALL’s goal is to transform European research and innovation initiatives in the area of digital enhanced learning. Digital enhanced learning projects are being consolidated into an increasingly cohesive, dynamic, participatory and sustainable ecosystem. DEL4ALL will stimulate collaboration among all key players in an inclusive and impactful way.
DEL4ALL is analysing best-practice and success stories for the benefit of the whole community. Dedicated dissemination and stakeholders’ engagement activities will ensure impactful knowledge and value is injected into the broader NGI initiative.
DEL4ALL will guide a) the community and its efforts in a forward-looking perspective, for more inclusive and personalised learning solutions and b) the analysis of challenges and opportunities offered by the increased adoption of digital technologies, such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, data analytics and new media.
Towards these aims, DEL4ALL engages a group of experts from a multidisciplinary perspective to understand all the legal, organisational and technological challenges to be overcome, especially those related to scaling-up such solutions. This analysis will form a basis to provide guidelines on future research directions, as well as policy recommendations enabling an effective transition from Horizon 2020 to Horizon Europe.
